Passport Photo Maker

Make your passport photo

Take a photo against a plain light wall. The tool finds the face, crops to the official size, and lays out a print sheet you can cut.

Your photo stays on this device. Nothing is uploaded unless you ask for the files by email.

1Take the photo

How to take a photo that passes
  • Stand about 2 ft in front of the white background, so your shadow does not land on it.
  • Face a window or a lamp. Light should reach your face evenly from the front.
  • Ask someone to hold the phone 4 to 5 ft away at eye level. Selfies distort the face.
  • Leave space around the head and shoulders. The app does the cropping.
  • Look straight at the camera with eyes open and mouth closed. No glasses, no hat.

2Fit it to the size

Your photo goes here. Hair touches the top line, chin lands in the green band.

By using the tool you agree to the terms and the privacy policy. The tool checks size and framing only. The passport office has the final say, so compare the result with your country’s official photo rules before you apply.
